• Tennis (1 to 4 players). Take part in incredible intense doubles matches! Grip your Joy-Con and move it like a racket at the right moment to fire shots. Adjust your swing to add some topspin or slice to your shots, or even swing upwards to play lobs.
• Bowling (1 to 16 players). Swing your Joy-Con to roll the ball, adding a little curve by twisting your wrist. Challenge family and friends to a bowling tournament, or put your skills to the test in 16-player games online. There are a host of tricky challenges to take on if you’re playing solo too, such as moving obstacles to avoid and narrow ledges to bowl down.
• Chambara (1 to 2 players). In chambara you have to drive your rival off the platform and down into the water below! Swing your Joy-Con to attack, or block your opponent’s strikes and wait for the perfect moment to counter-attack. Choose your weaponry from one of three options each with their own unique features, such as the Twin Swords, where you have to use two Joy-Cons at once.
• Volleyball (1 to 4 players). Use a Joy-Con controller to serve, bump, set, and spike the ball. The key to winning is co-operation, so work together with your partner to create openings and score points. Throwing your arms up at the right time will block incoming shots and give you an opportunity to counter-attack too.
• Badminton (1 to 2 players). Use your Joy-Con to control and strike the shuttlecock.
• Football (1 to 8 players). Run into position and use your Joy-Con to send the giant ball flying into the back of the net! Use the Leg Strap accessory (included with the physical version of Nintendo Switch Sports and also available separately) to unleash impressive volleys in both Shoot-Out mode and in one-on-one or four-on-four matches.
• Golf (1 to 8 players). Swing your Joy-Con just like a golf club as you drive down the fairway and sink impressive putts. Twist your wrist to add direction to your shot, but be sure to adjust for the wind! Play on 21 holes from across the Wii Sports series, and take on the world in Survival Golf where eight players tee off at the same time. Free software update required.

RING FIT ADVENTURE GAME: An adventure that makes you move! Grip your Ring-Con, put on the Leg Strap accessory and get ready to experience a truly hectic fitness adventure. Explore a fantasy adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises with Ring Fit Adventure, a fitness video game for Nintendo Switch. Traverse grass-swept plains by jogging in place, attack enemies with overhead shoulder presses, and refill your health meter by striking some yoga poses.

Two new accessories, the Ring-Con and Leg Strap, measure your real-world actions and help turn them into in-game movements. In addition, Ring Fit Adventure includes additional mini-games and customised training programmes, making it a great escape for players of all skill and fitness levels and schedules.

In Adventure mode, you’ll have to defeat enemies with attacks based on over 60 real-world exercises as you traverse more than 100 levels in over 20 worlds.
